5 Models from 700W to 100W

The XP power amplifier series includes 5 models with different outputs ranging from 700W (stereo, 8ohms) to 100W (stereo, 8ohms). The broad choice of power output the XP series provides means you can select a model that will ideally match the power requirements of your application. For even further flexibility all models can operate in 3 modes: in the stereo mode the two channels are independent; the parallel (dual mono) mode allows a single mono input signal to drive both channels and two independent speaker systems; and in the bridge mode, both channels work together to deliver maximum power. The environmentally friendly XP series amplifiers also use lead-free parts.

Model Output
XP7000 700W+700W (8ohms), compatible with 70V lines (stereo)
XP5000 500W+500W (8ohms)
XP3500 350W+350W (8ohms), compatible with 100V lines (bridged)
XP2500 250W+250W (8ohms)
XP1000 100W+100W (8ohms)

Robust Power Output, Superior Audio Quality, and Efficient Operation

Yamaha’s audio engineers have specifically designed the new P-Series power amplifiers to be perfect companions to the popular Club Series loudspeakers. To achieve this, they made sure that the amplifiers are capable of delivering power that matches the power handling capabilities of the Club Series Speakers, and equipped them with YS Processing (Yamaha Speaker Processing) to deliver a signal that will result in optimum system performance.
Power is plentiful, ranging from 3200 watts from the P7000S to 1300 watts from the P2500S in 4 ohms bridged mode. If you want the perfect power amplifier for pair of Club S115s with a 500-watt program rating, for example, the P5000S with 500-watts per channel into 8 ohms is the obvious choice.

Peavey has enhanced its stalwart CS Commercial Series power amplifier design with the new four-channel CS 800×4 and two-channel CS 1400, CS 2000, CS 3000 and CS 4000 models. An additional two-channel amp, the CS 4080 HZ, delivers an astonishing 4080 watts at 8 ohms—making it possibly the most powerful subwoofer amplifier on the market.

Building on the reputation of the world-famous Peavey CS 800, which conquered the high-powered amp market in the 1970s, the CS Series is the global standard bearer for workhorse reliability. Over the years, these amps have benefited from many of Peavey’s most popular audio innovations, including our exclusive DDT™ compression/anti-clipping protection. With its 2RU design and high power ratings, this latest evolution of the CS Series is leaner, louder and lighter than ever.

Peavey gives the pro audio world even more reasons to choose the CS Series, including 14 power devices per channel on the CS 3000, CS 4000 and CS 4080, nearly twice the number found in more expensive competitors. The four-channel CS 800×4 utilizes wire-bonded hybrid technology and can power four monitor mixes from a single unit, while the CS 1400 and CS 2000 contain overbuilt heat sinks for more efficient tunnel cooling. All CS power amps include toroidal power transformers for lighter weight and increased power.

The front panel display includes LED indicators for signal presence and DDT active, as well as individual power LEDs that indicate fault conditions. CS amps also feature circuitry to protect against shorts, improper loads, overdriven turn-on levels, high temperatures, DC and subsonic frequencies that could damage loudspeakers. To ensure cool operating temperatures, we’ve included two dual-speed cooling fans on the CS 1400 and CS 2000; two variable-speed cooling fans on the CS 3000, CS 4000 and CS 4080 HZ; and one variable-speed cooling fan on the CS 800×4. CS amps ship with XLR-1/4″ combination inputs; binding post, Speakon® and IEC mains connector outputs; and our strong five-year warranty.

The new CS Commercial Series power amplifiers are now available from authorized Peavey retailers.
